Meet Sarah Adams
A dedicated parent, lifelong learner, and passionate advocate for Lander schools, working to build stronger collaboration between our community, school staff, and students.

Committed to our district and community
I love education, and I love kids. Four years ago, I felt called to serve on the school board, but knew I needed to understand our schools first. Over the past four years, I have actively invested my time in learning about what makes these schools tick.
As a founding member and active participant in the district-wide Family Engagement Team (FET), an attendee at any and all PIE meetings, and an active volunteer elsewhere, I hold deep respect for this district and how it serves the community.

Experience, leadership, and a parent's perspective
My dedication to Lander schools is deeply personal and professionally grounded. I have already graduated two children from Lander Valley High School and currently have four children attending district schools. I see firsthand the challenges and triumphs our students and staff face.
Professionally, I hold an Ed.D. in Interdisciplinary Leadership and bring decades long experience with alternative educational settings. This background gives me the insight needed to ask good questions, learn, and make informed, balanced decisions about the well-being, success, and growth of our district.
Our move to Lander began over 15 years ago when my husband took a position as a family physician on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Currently he cares for local veterans and hospice patients. I also want to clear up a quick misunderstanding: despite what many assume, our family and my own academic and personal work have never been connected to Wyoming Catholic College.
